What is the Cancellation or Reschedule Policy?
For a full refund you will need to cancel at minimum seven (7) days prior to your scheduled picnic date. If you need to reschedule you will need to notify us at minimum three (3) days prior to your scheduled picnic date. Cancellations and/or rescheduling done outside of these timeframes will be subject to a 50% fee based on the total cost of your selected package.
How far in advance do I need to book a picnic?
You can book a picnic up to 12 months in advance. We require a minimum of two weeks in advance scheduling to be able to provide you with the maximum picnic experience.
Are pets allowed?
We love pets and pets are allowed (subject to location restrictions). However, due to the extra clean up required they are considered an “add-on” and are subject to additional fees.
What are the COVID-19 rules?
For the safety and security of our guests and ourselves we follow federal, state, and local laws and policies regarding Covid-19 protocols. We ask that social distancing be adhered to as well as mask requirements. We clean and sanitize all items and equipment prior to and following all use.
What happens if the weather takes a turn on the day of my scheduled picnic?
We understand weather is outside of your control, however we would suggest you refer to posted weather forecasts prior to booking or periodically once you have booked a date. This will allow you to be aware of the predicted/forecast weather on the date of your scheduled picnic. You can refer to our cancellation policy for full refunds should you notice a forecast of unfavorable weather on your scheduled date.
If your scheduled picnic date is met with inclement weather (defined herein as severe, harsh, unsafe, or impractical for outdoor activities) you will be allowed to reschedule within 90 days without a fee. Any rescheduled date past 90 days will incur a 25% fee. If you wish to obtain a refund due to inclement weather, you will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee if not cancelled seven (7) days in advance.
What happens if I damage any items on my picnic?
You will be charged for any items or equipment which is missing, damaged, or broken. We will provide you with an invoice for the damaged/missing items. The credit card on file will be charged for the loss amount.
Can you service a picnic location outside of your radius?
Any locations posted on our website are included in the package pricing. If you wish to set up a picnic outside of our listed locations, please contact us to obtain the additional pricing cost for you specific desired location.
What’s the alcohol policy?
It is important for you to know and follow the rules, laws, and regulations regarding alcohol consumption for the location you choose. Happy Picnics does not provide alcohol in any package nor do we promote alcohol consumption. We are therefore not responsible for any individual decisions you make regarding this subject.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You are free to bring with you any items you choose. We do provide certain food and drink items which are detailed in each individual package. Please refer to our alcohol policy in our FAQ and in our terms and conditions.
